Quixote Transport Technologies, Inc. Michael Wilson new Western Mountain Region Sales Manager

(ST. LOUIS, MO April 2007) – Quixote Transportation Technologies, Inc. (QTT) has appointed Mr. W. Michael Wilson to its sales and marketing team as new Territory Sales Manager for the Western Region Mountain States.  In this role, Wilson will be responsible for the sales of all QTT products and services in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. 

Wilson’s sales responsibilities will consist of introducing QTT product line concepts, product demonstrations, influencing product specifications, managing QTT’s distributor network and all other tasks associated with meeting QTT’s regional sales objectives. 

He brings a very dynamic sales, management, and operational background to QTT.  His outside sales experience involved both product-based and solution-based campaigns.  Wilson’s most recent experience includes regional management for Opex Corporation, a processing equipment supplier, where he was responsible for sales of contracts, new equipment, and remittance software.  Prior to that, he was in application sales and service for FTI Flow Technology, a manufacturer of calibrators, liquid flow management systems, and temperature and pressure sensing instruments. 

“Generating new sales, problem solving, technical support and specifications for end users, and training and managing a network of distributors were all key responsibilities in Michael’s past roles,” John Grimm, Regional Sales Manager for QTT, said.  “His experience provides a solid foundation to build from in his new role.”

Wilson was in the United States Marine Corp. Reserves and attended Ohio State University.  He will work from a territory-based office in Chandler, Arizona.
