QUIXOTE TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGIES, INC. NAMES RACHEL HUTCHERSON NEW SOUTHEASTERN TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

(DURHAM, NC December 2007) – Quixote Transportation Technologies, Inc. (QTT), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Rachel Hutcherson as its new Territory Sales Manager for the Southeastern U.S. region.  In her new role, Ms. Hutcherson will be responsible for the sales of all QTT products and services in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. 

Ms. Hutcherson’s sales responsibilities will consist of introducing QTT product lines and concepts, providing product demonstrations, influencing product specifications, managing QTT’s distributor network, and all other tasks associated with meeting QTT’s regional sales objectives. 

Hutcherson joined QTT in March of 2006 as a Sales Support Specialist.  This role included sales support activities such as developing quotations and proposals, executing telemarketing campaigns, order entry functions and customer follow-ups.  In 2007 she expanded her role within QTT, assisting the Eastern Regional Sales Manager in a variety of sales management responsibilities for the Southeastern territory. 

Rachel Hutcherson received a B.S. in Business Administration from East Carolina University in North Carolina with a concentration in Management Information Systems.  Prior to joining QTT, Hutcherson served as Technical Sales Support Specialist in the Commercial Insurance Department with Trisure Corporation and also was employed by Redwood Software, as a Database Administrator.
