RWIS User Software

A Road / Runway Weather Information System (RWIS) collects vital information from pavement, weather and traffic sensors. This data is needed for effective highway and airport maintenance operations. Viewing your RWIS data is just as important as the system collecting it! With RWIS user software solutions from QTT your RWIS data is easily viewed using standard Internet technologies. This means you view your RWIS data in the same manner you would view a web site - a familiar method.

SCAN Web®

SCAN Web is a software user interface for viewing RWIS data. Standard Internet technologies are used to display data elements from RWIS. SCAN Web is more flexible than any other RWIS interface and provides easy-to-read graphical data displays.

SCAN Web is reliable software capable of handling large amounts of data. It displays all RWIS data parameters - from current pavement status to video images. In addition, the software is capable of device control, such as activating fixed anti-icing spray systems, flashing beacons or other roadside devices (activation data is recorded for reference).

SCAN Web is ideal for large RWIS networks with one or more servers at your location.

RWIS Online™

With RWIS Online, QTT hosts your RWIS data at our data collection facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Your data is viewed using a password protected web site, which allows access to your RWIS data anywhere you have Internet access. RWIS Online eliminates the need for a server, which is a cost effective and hassle-free solution for many agencies.

The advantage of RWIS Online is that it provides you with access to your RWIS data from work or home. It is designed for agencies that require all the benefits of RWIS without the hassle of maintaining a data collection and display system. In addition, with RWIS Online, low monthly payments include any product updates and replacement of necessary collection hardware.

SCAN® PC

SCAN PC is a unique software display that allows you to view your RWIS data from a PC. SCAN PC is ideal for smaller RWIS systems and offers easy-to-read displays. It is less expensive than a traditional server-based system and supports data from one to four RWIS sites.

With SCAN PC, your RWIS data is accessible from work or home. It is a perfect system for smaller agencies with limited budgets.
